We are a small family business. We have always been big dog lovers and they have been with us practically our whole lives.
Preparing raw food for our SAL
Currently, we have a black Labrador SAL as our companion. We chose the name Sal from the old Icelandic language and it means “soul”. And that is exactly what it is. Labradors, with their incredible love and kindness to everyone, especially to their owners, incredibly enrich and delight our lives.
When we bought him as a puppy from a breeder, they fed all their dogs with “quality” kibble, of a higher price range. Despite the promised quality and high price, we did not hesitate for long to change and started feeding him raw food. We mostly bought meat, bones and other things from the local butcher. However, this means extra work, some ingenuity and time.

A few years ago, while preparing food, I thought, why not try preparing all this raw food in larger quantities and also offer it to all other dog owners who already or would like to start feeding their dogs a healthy diet.
Some people do not have local butchers where they could buy suitable meat and other ingredients that would also be affordable, others do not have the time to prepare such food.
After a few days of thinking and browsing the internet, I realized that there was no suitable offer of ready-made raw food on the market. This fact convinced me even more that the decision was right and that is how our excellent raw dog food GOOD4DOGS was created.
